Experts recommend more than the typical amount of bed rest for mothers giving birth to twins or more because of the extreme side effects and grave consequences.
Women giving birth to a single baby typically do not require a longer duration of bed rest as compared to women giving birth to twins. This may sound tempting but bed rest is not that pleasing as it sounds and can get quite monotonous.
6. Aches and Pain
Women going through pregnancy have to endure a great deal of discomfort, including intolerable headaches, severe back pains, stretching ligaments and killing cramps.
Women who gave birth to twins complain of experiencing excruciating pain all across the body, making it almost impossible to stand.
Women with singleton pregnancies also experience these body aches and pain, however, these symptoms tend to heighten in the case of twin pregnancies.
